Fay Taylour (1904-1983) became a works team motorcycle rider in the late 1920s, made a living from prize money, and later turned to speedway racing. After the Auto-Cycle Union banned women from speedway, Taylour (above) moved to motor racing, before her active involvement in the fascist movement led to wartime internment. Shown here in a racing Talbot.
