"In 1880 in Morez, France, Eugene JEANTET founded the JEANTET company which manufactured and sold mainly pince-nez spectacle frames for cyclists and automobile drivers.
The Aviator Goggle was created by Leon JEANTET, Eugene's son, on 3 July 1929. It was marketed to all sportsmen involved with planes, motorcycles and cars.
To produce a single pair of goggles requires 60 separate manual operations, thus creating an object of tradition and quality."
