Starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and newbie Jack Nicholson, Easy Rider kicked out box office records from a modest budget and insanely killer soundtrack ranging from Hendrix to The Band. One of my favorite images of the cross-country duo as they ride to their eventual fate. "Do your own thing in your own time."
