8-Track under dash player. Sooo 1970s. A number of manufacturers led the craze including Craig, Ampex, Radio Shack, to name a few. Soon cassettes took over followed by CD players and no iPods.

My dad's 1980 Buick had an 8-Track player. The only albums we had were the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and "My Sharona" by The Knack. It was great until the tape flipped in the middle of a song. What were they thinking?!?
