Maybe Agent Orange in Vietnam caused my regression, but besides my prediction for best commercial this year, this video was made just for fun. Fast slot cars, (1000 Scale MPH claimed) on board video cam, and vertical racing make this video pretty action packed.
The slot car racing set was a closeout at Lewis Drug stores and made by LL Racing, a division of William K. Walthers, Inc. The 18g FPV camera is from NitroPlanes and Frankie the Fish is from Gemmy industries Corp, which I bought at ShopKo and all the Filet of Fishes from McDonalds.

My BIGGEST slot car racing set!! HUGE and even bigger than the last one! 2-tier lanes, and a split track too! I tried out the white Indy car because it seemed to hug the corners a little better than the red Lamborghini. I widened up the loop and turned it so you could get a better view. I'll upload a separate video of the loop so you can see the car running upside down! No crash this time!
Since I posted my first video I've been amazed at the number of views it received and have been investing time in trying to find out how I could monetize the videos and somehow turn it into a fun source of income. I've been looking all over the net at how people turn this into home based work. Crazy, but people say this is an easy way to make money! I'll let you know if it works. I hope to make enough money each month to buy that Direct TV package with all the channels! Maybe some of my viewers can lobby directv.com for me:)
It looks like Australia is the hot slot car market right now, so I hope all of my australian friends from down under will take a look at my other slot car videos and share them with their friends in ASCRA! :)

During the 1960s, the Classic company made a series of 1.24 scale slot cars that rule many hometown hobby tracks. Among the hottest was this Stinger model with articulating rear wing that flipped up when slowing down. Together with orange tires and an outrageous look, the Stinger is now a coveted collectible. Expect to pay $300++ depending on condition and with box. Oh, mine in pretty rough shape after years of use but I'll never git her up!

James Bond's loyalty to M is challenged over secrets from her past. When MI6 is attacked, it falls to Bond to seek out and eliminate the threat regardless of the cost to himself. Re-enact scenes from the story on track or make up your own exciting chases scenes using the gravity defying flying leap. A chicane and crossroads form part of the extended figure-of-eight for endless dare-devil manoeuvres with the two James Bond cars - an Aston Martin DB5 and Range Rover. The ramps and chicane can change position for a different challenge.
The Scalextric Range Rover has had a facelift and differs from previous releases of the Range Rover with a new front grill, head lights, side grill, rear lights and new wheels. Available from www.scalextric.com.

The mid 1960s featured the Golden Age of slot cars, motorized cars on a grooved track was, well, groovy! This 1:24-scale "Manta Ray" by the Classic brand was my first slot at the hometown hobby shop. Body molded clear so you' paint from the inside. "Sidewinder" motor mounting and the cool magnesium chassis have elevated these Classic slot cars to collector status today. Ah, smell the solder!
