LAND ROVER DEFENDER LXV SPECIAL EDITION - $45,000

While the Jeep Wrangler is more than capable for off-road activities, the more discerning adventurer knows that the Land Rover Defender reigns supreme. Based on the original Land Rover, the Defender has looked essentially the same since its introduction in 1983. To celebrate their 65th anniversary, Land Rover has introduced the Land Rover Defender LXV Special Edition. Truth be told, it should be titled “Limited Edition” as only 65 of these iconic vehicles will be made. Exterior upgrades include 16 inch “Sawtooth” alloy wheels and Santorini black body color with contrasting roof, grill, and headlight surrounds sprayed Corris Grey. On the inside you will find leather seating with LXV embossed head-rests and orange stitching. And in typical Defender fashion, not much else. Power comes from a 2.2 liter diesel.

Offroading With The Tank Chair. By David Ponce

Nothing like starting work, on a Monday morning, pondering just how awesome life would be if you got to get around on a tank chair. Like this one.

Of course, this particular chair is designed for people that actually need it, not just people who’d enjoy terrorising old ladies on the sidewalk. It appears to be the brainchild of a dad, who one day, while camping, realized his wheelchair-bound wife was unable to enjoy nature as much as she would have liked to, due to her current chair’s limitations. 2 years and lots of sweat later, the Tank Chair was born. With it, you can conquer snow, mud, sand, gravel or whatever else nature throws at you. Though, it seems you need to actually be disabled to own one.

And, well, no idea what the sticker on that thing could be.

iXoost is the first audio system for iPhone©/iPod© entirely hand-built in Modena by local craftsmen.

Every iXoost base out of a solid block of aluminium, with parts such as the exhaust manifold turned and milled using five-axis machines, making this object unique also in terms of the way it’s put together.

The name iXoost comes from the English pronunciation of the word “exhaust”, the first dock station dreamed up by Matteo Panini and designed by Mirco Pecorari.
Mechanics and sound come together thanks to the tradition evoked by the world of engines.
The docks are colourful, finished with high-quality leather coupled with the exhaust manifolds to create fantastic combinations which are a pleasure for the heart as much as for the eye. Listen to your music through extremely innovative loudspeakers featuring a 140W active subwoofer.

Its exceptional sound quality and fine acoustic detail provides this dock station with an unequalled listening experience.
