Feed setting on vintage South Bend metal lathe. This allows the operator to set spindle rotation with carriage for thread cutting.

South bend was a big manufacturing hub during the first half of the 20th century. It was home to the Bendix Corporation (Stromberg Carburetors etc) and let us not forget Studebaker.
