Personal preference, if you plan on using your air tools with any sort of regularity, go for something with a little more capacity than 2 gallons unless you want to listed to that thing kick on every 5 minutes

Size matters, but for the basics like pumping tires, blowing off debris, and running light tools, this sucker definitely worth throwing in the car trailer just in case.
