Driving a Ferrari 275 GTB through Paris during the early morning hours with no previous preparation. This exhilarating and now legendary drive with it’s surprise ending through beautiful 70s Paris has been shrouded in myths since it’s first release. Was seminal French director Claude Lelouch really arrested when it was first shown? Was it a Formula 1 driver in the iconic Ferrari 275 GTB? Is it real or is it fake ?
Lelouch’s electrifying nine-minute drive has to be seen to be believed. No car chase on film has, or ever will, come close. The reality of no special effects, edits or blocking off streets is simply shocking. Even Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson crowned it the king of car chase movies he was putting it ahead of Bullitt, The French Connection and all other pretenders to the throne.
