A Hungarian couple traveling quite efficiently on a Pannonia motorcycle.
The Csepel Steel & Metal Company began building motorcycles in 1932, under the name “Csepel”. The Csepel brand was used until 1951, when the company was renamed Pannonia.
Pannonia was the most successful Hungarian motorbike brand every made.

A mid-century promotional Pannonia motorcycle advert printed on a matchbox.
"The most successful of Hungarian motorcycles - and unfortunately the last, was Pannonia. The production on Pannonia motorcycles began in Budapest in 1954, when the factory changed, to promote sales and export, the old product name "Csepel" to Pannonia which cross-refers to ancient Roman times."

Another fabulous design by an obscure Hungarian coach-building firm "Lajos Zupka and Sons". This looks like a Mercedes-Benz 770. Anyone have a better guess?
