This 2005 Magnum RT AWD 5.7L HEMI Cool Vanilla is a brand new vehicle that until recently was in a private collection and stored in a climate controlled environment. I originally purchased the car with the intent of driving it myself but after it arrived I found it to be a true time capsule and absolutely NEW in condition and I can not justify driving it. I have a private car collection that includes a 2008 DODGE MAGNUM SRT8 with all options in rare Steel Blue color with very low miles that I drive occasionally. I do not need 2 Magnum wagons in my collection.

There are many DODGE Magnum wagons on the used market to choose from, although not many RT AWD 5.7L HEMI come up for sale at any given time and not many are found in the rare Cool Vanilla color. If your budget is for a used car, then a used car is what you get. This wagon is NEW! and can be bought for less than the cost when originally sold as a new car.

Up for sale is a 1994 Chevrolet Impala SS. This is no ordinary Impala, It is a factory pilot car that is known as the Impala SS 6 speed. It is the one and only factory built 6spd manual Impala made!!! I purchased this car straight from Chevrolet in 2009 at the Barrett-Jackson Car auction. Before General Motors filed for bankruptcy they made a public display of good faith to raise money and sold off around 200 of their highly coveted and prized heritage collection. Technically I am the original owner and is a 1 owner car. This Impala SS was never supposed to leave the Heritage Collection and fall into the hands of the public. That was a situation that will most likely never happen again.

It was Commissioned to be built by the Legendary John Moss who headed up the Chevrolet Special Vehicles Division and created some of the coolest cars from the late 1980's and 1990's. He did not stop at the transmission modification either, it has a fully modified LT1 motor that was bumped from 260 to 308 Horsepower and just for fun it has a 4:10 geared rear end as well.

Motorweek did a special 5 minute full road test of this actual car and the video speaks for itself. The car got an outstanding review and were very disappointed it was not to be available for sale. Today is going to be someone's lucky day because this 1 of 1 concept car Impala SS is for sale!!! Here is the link to the Motorweek video below and it has some sound and quality issues but the point comes across clearly!!!

Chevrolet was so proud of this car that they campaigned it as a 1994,1995 and a 1996 model at various automotive shows. I have put under 300 miles on this car in 7 years but sure does put a big smile on my face when I do. These cars were instant classics when they introduced and reinvented the full size 4 door muscle car. It has just over 20,000 original miles on it and they were all put on by the employees of Chevrolet. It apparently was a very popular car in their fleet.

Aside from the drivetrain is in stock Impala SS and everything works as it should and drives down the road perfect. It has 2 codes on the SPI tag and have a picture of all the options decoded. 1 code is for a "not for public sale" and the other code is for "pilot vehicle" The vin serial # on this car is 00024. This car would make a great addition to any car collection. Like most of the pre-production and pilot cars this was originally sold with a salvage title from Chevrolet but I had it inspected by the DMV in Arizona and they did issue it a clean Arizona title so it can be registered and driven in any state.
