Screen idol Clark Gable with his 1932 Packard Twin Six convertible coupe. Packard had just reintroduced 12 cylinder engines to the market borrowing from its teens moniker "Twin Six." Simply "Twelve" became the new designation from 1933 onward. This exact vehicle recently sold at an Arizona auction for a healthy $737,000!

The Telegraph road-test the monster 42 litre V12 Packard special Bentley. This Packard motorboat engined beast may have more horsepower than a Veyron but it does weight a considerable amount more.
