Lamborghini has had a long history of naming its cars to reflect the power and tradition of bullfighting. In the hands of driver and owner CJ Bonura, it's easy to understand how the sounds and sights of this particular Lamborghini inspired the name "Espada", Spanish for sword, referring to the one used by the Matador to defeat the bull at the end of the fight.

I was given the opportunity to film a group of guys by the name of Standard Functions, who specialize in Honda Ruckus and other scooters. We shot this all in a day, with troubles with audio pick ups, and a few other things, though I was able to complete this with the help of my Girlfriend getting some good b-roll and being the driver while i hung out of the car. It was an awesome experience to get to know Ming, Kevin, Jimmy, and the rest of the guys more and build a stronger friendship. I'm sure there will be more to come from awfilms and Standard Functions!
Standard Functions is an ambitious two partner company that was created in mid ‘06 as a way for us to chase opportunities and to make something of ourselves. Standard Functions has now revamped into a full service retail store for the scooter community, carrying after market performance parts for Honda Ruckus, Honda Metropolitan, Yamaha Zuma, and many other scooters. We take from our other hobbies and combine ideas to create what lies before you. Ranging from colors to style, we offer items for the open minded who “dare to be different”. Our objective is to provide the best choices in unique parts, accessories, and customer service. That’s our standard, and here’s your function. Enjoy your stay.

"Rendezvous" in HD. "It makes Bullitt look like a cartoon", Jeremy Clarkson - from spiritlevelfilm.com
Terrifying yet absolutely compulsive - this exhilarating and now legendary drive with it’s surprise ending through beautiful 70s Paris has been shrouded in myths since it’s first release.
Was seminal French director Claude Lelouch really arrested when it was first shown?
Was it a Formula 1 driver in the iconic Ferrari 275 GTB?
Is it real or is it fake ?
Lelouch’s electrifying 9 minute drive has to be seen to be believed. No car chase on film has, or ever will, come close. The reality of no special effects, edits or blocking off streets is simply shocking. Ehen Top Gear'sJeremy Clarkson crowned it the king of car chase movies he was putting it ahead of Bullitt, The French Connection and all other pretenders to the throne.

Marking its 75th anniversary this year, the classic Cord 810/812 flopped in the 1930s because of an early reputation for unreliability. Nevertheless, it's one of the most beautiful sedans in Jay Leno's garage. Back in 1983 Moss Motors purchased a 1980 MGB Limited Edition with around 65 miles on the odometer. This car had the distinction of being the 500,000th MGB to roll off the production line since 1962. Today there are approximately 15 additional miles on the car from being hand-pushed for 30 years around the R&D garage and onto trailers to attend shows.
The Limited Edition has been a hardworking vehicles for its entire life at Moss. Because nothing has changed in this car since the day it rolled off the Abingdon factory floor, it has been an immense resource for developing period-correct replacement parts. By measuring up to this pristine example Moss Motors can ensure that new parts are as close as possible to those that the factory made.
The Moss Motors east coast facility in Petersburg, Virginia, has an all-new showroom. In it there are a number of significant, historic British cars. We're pleased to announce the 500,000th MGB LE will be among these fine vehicles. Come for a visit. We'd be delighted to show you around.

Although the estimated number of General Lees used varies from different sources, according to Ben Jones ("Cooter" in the show), as well as builders involved with the show, 256 General Lees were used to film the series. Others claim about 321 were used in the series. Approximately seventeen still exist in various states of repair. On average, more than one General Lee was used up per show. When filming a jump, anywhere from 500 to 1,000 pounds of sand bags or concrete ballast was placed in the trunk to prevent the car from nosing over. Later in the series the mechanics would raise the front end of the car to keep it from scraping against the ramp causing it to lose speed, thereby providing a cushion for the driver upon landing. Stunt drivers report enjoying the flights but hating the landings. Despite the ballast, the landing attitude of the car was somewhat unpredictable, resulting in moderate to extremely violent forces, depending on how it landed. On many of the jumps the cars bent upon impact. All cars used in large jumps were immediately retired due to structural damage.

In Edward Glaeser's totemic 2011 book, The Triumph of the City, he points out that if China were to suburbanise and become as car-dependent as America, the effect on the environment of China's 1.3 billion people driving would be fatal to the environment.
So hurrah then for Chinese farmer Tang Zhenping who's built, for a mere £1,000, the "Blue Hornet" – an electric car made of scrap motorbike, scooter and car parts that's powered(ish) by wind. Sky News's Holly Williams tracked down Zhenping, who says that when the car makes it to 40mph it charges its own battery through a wind-powered turbine attached to its front bumper.
Independent testing may be required to see if the wind does actually produce enough power to enhance the battery but, for now at least, let's assume that it's the Hornet, and not he, that's full of hot air.

A Film i shot about Dustin Kott, the Californian bike builder who makes custom British style Cafe racers out of old japanese bikes. I met Dustin in LA on a Harley-Davidson shoot, and was intrigued how a classic American who looks like he should be building Choppers, was passionate about little old Brit bikes, and was using cheap 70s Japanese bikes to make lovely custom Cafes.

Jeremy drives the Peel P50, the world's smallest production car to work and even takes it into the lift in this hilarious clip from BBC's Top Gear. Watch out for cameos from John Humphries when he kidnaps the car and Fiona Bruce in the lift!
