Over the years the 911 has grown quite a bit in size. Luckily, it's also grown quite a bit in power as well.

I have found (and heard from many people) that the older 911s have far more character and the new ones simply feel like an appliance for speed. I'd still probably take a new one though.

Part of what gave the older 911s their personality was their unpredictability. Half the fun was that the car could spin and kill you at a moment's notice.
