This 1959 Porsche 356A Convertible D (chassis 86668) has been owned by the seller for 15 years. It was raced as far back as the 1960′s according to the seller, who has been in touch with the owner from that time, and was modified in Speedster style with a genuine Speedster windshield frame and folding top, as well as desirable Carrera-spec wide front drum brakes. The seller rebuilt the 912 engine currently in the car 10 years ago and has used it for both vintage racing and road driving ever since. The sale includes many spares including engines and wheels. It is now available outside Boston, Massachusetts for $115k.

Have an extra $4.6M to spend - then I have a car for you!
Celebrating 50 years in business in the automotive industry is no small feat. We’ve all seen them come and go. Yet, Lamborghini lasts and in great style.
Witness the new Lamborghini Veneno. She’s a 740 horsepower 6.5 liter V12 monster, with a seven-speed transmission, a top speed of 220 mph, and a 0-62 time in less than three seconds. However, is you are spending near $5M for a car, I don’t think that you are interested in these specs. Undoubtedly you are more interested in exclusivity and bragging rights. Consider that a given.
I’m struck by it’s angular design and wonder if it will endure (think Cadillac XLR). However, the Gallardo has been a great seller despite it’s similar styling. I’m reminded of automotive origami. So many folds.

The Lamborghini Canto was a prototype built by the italian automaker Lamborghini and designed by the automotive styling firm Carrozzeria Zagato as an exercise to study potential designs for the Diablo's replacement. Various versions of the Canto were shown to the then-president of Lamborghini but unfortunately, the project was canned and was not deemed suitable to wear the Lamborghini badge.
