Dare to be different! Just ran across this wild 69 Fiat on the Hyman site. Here's you go...

1969 FIAT SHELLETTE. One of the notable uses of the Ghia-bodied Fiat Jolly was as a tender for yachts, one that could be easily transported and offloaded to carry cruisers on day trips and run errands, then returned to the vessel and sailed to another port. Noted yacht designer Phillip Schell perceived the opportunity to build a more elaborate vehicle and teamed up with auto designer Giovanni Michelotti to build it. Based on the Fiat 850 with 47 horsepower, the Shellette expands the Jolly's basic premise of wicker seats and a surrey-style top but presents it in a more modern, streamlined fiberglass body that is both elegant and distinctive. Only some 80 examples were built by Michelotti and this is one of the best, a suberb and highly original example showing under 10,000 miles on its odometer. It has been repainted and comes with a new top, matching canvas covers for the wicker seats, Coco floor mats, seat belts and a Nardi wood rim steering wheel. Some of its distinctive features are the woven wicker covered dashboard, brightly varnished wood trim and sills and a fitted wicker basket between the seats, ideal for a quick trip to the bakery for fresh croissants. Fiat Jollys are renowned for their attitude, but this Shellette, one of only about 10 known to survive, elevates attitude and flair by an order of magnitude. It will never be upstaged, even without its accessory yacht. $59,500.00
