Dare to be different! Just ran across this wild 69 Fiat on the Hyman site. Here's you go...
1969 FIAT SHELLETTE. One of the notable uses of the Ghia-bodied Fiat Jolly was as a tender for yachts, one that could be easily transported and offloaded to carry cruisers on day trips and run errands, then returned to the vessel and sailed to another port. Noted yacht designer Phillip Schell perceived the opportunity to build a more elaborate vehicle and teamed up with auto designer Giovanni Michelotti to build it. Based on the Fiat 850 with 47 horsepower, the Shellette expands the Jolly's basic premise of wicker seats and a surrey-style top but presents it in a more modern, streamlined fiberglass body that is both elegant and distinctive. Only some 80 examples were built by Michelotti and this is one of the best, a suberb and highly original example showing under 10,000 miles on its odometer. It has been repainted and comes with a new top, matching canvas covers for the wicker seats, Coco floor mats, seat belts and a Nardi wood rim steering wheel. Some of its distinctive features are the woven wicker covered dashboard, brightly varnished wood trim and sills and a fitted wicker basket between the seats, ideal for a quick trip to the bakery for fresh croissants. Fiat Jollys are renowned for their attitude, but this Shellette, one of only about 10 known to survive, elevates attitude and flair by an order of magnitude. It will never be upstaged, even without its accessory yacht. $59,500.00

Anyone for a pumpkin orange Maserati Merak SS? Current bid $15,600.
This Maserati Merak SS is one of only 600 made in 1977 and a few of this color. This car has been storaged for more than 20 years;good shape & runs;it's a 5 speed with A/C. Driver's seat needs a little TLC. This is a very rare care and unique, good mileage (only 14,149 mileage). The power windows do not work. The carburator needs to be clean and the brakes need to be adjust because they are too tight. I changed the alternator, new battery and I change the fuel hoses and fuel filter dueto the time sitting in storage. This car is sold As-Is. If purchased by private owner, he/she will have to pay Florida tax and title. Dealer to Dealer does not apply.

After getting the car dialed in the way we liked it, we hit the freeway out of Amsterdam headed southeast for the Eifel region of Germany. When in the planning stages of this trip we realized that a few free days existed between weekend events, and that the Nürburgring was was only a three hour drive. Adding it to the schedule was a no-brainer. In the end we completed five laps of the Nordschleife in the Alfa for a total of almost a full hour of track time. These days were the highlight of our trip so far!

Alfa Romeo 2500SS. The official driver of this car was Teresa Panini, daughter of aviation tycoon Carlos but it was the father who was behind the wheel, despite having no license and being in ill health, when the faster car of American teenager Bobby Unser was trying to pass. The old man kept blocking on the mountain road and the racers touched, Unser and his Jaguar narrowly avoiding a sheer drop of several hundred feet and Panini’s Alfa hitting the rock face on the other side of the road head on, killing the driver. Photos of the car prior to the race show that the model is a very good representation. The paint and decaling are neatly done and the windows with their fine etched frames fit superbly. Priced around $88.

Rare E-Type Jaguar left rusting in barn for 30 years sells at auction for £109,000 (more than THREE TIMES the estimate).
Decaying 1961 Flat Floor Roadster was only 59th E-Type to be built Found in a barn in Somerset, it had not been driven since 1983. It is one of only a handful of originals still around.
A rusty old Jaguar left to rot in a barn for 30 years has sold at auction for nearly £110,000 - more than three times its estimate. The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic cars in history and also regarded as one of the most beautiful.
But this 1961 Flat Floor Roadster model - which is the 59th ever built - is in need of a full restoration after suffering so much neglect. The owner, a retired naval architect in his 80s from Bath, Somerset, decided to sell it at this week's Bonhams' auction in Hendon, north-west London.
Two Bonham employees put the 1961 Jaguar E-Type 'Flat Floor' into place in preparation for yesterday's car auction at the RAF Museum in Hendon, north-west London, Due to spiralling running costs, the former owner stored the E-Type Jaguar in a garage in 1983 and it had been left there ever since, gathering dust.
Experts offered the battered vehicle with an estimate of just £30,000 - but they were stunned when the English sports car eventually sold for a staggering £109,000. A spokesman said: 'We were delighted with the performance of this "barn find", which more than tripled its highest pre-sale estimate, boosting the auction to a strong £1.7million result. 'We had suspected it would do well, given that it is one of the earliest surviving right-hand drive roadsters - dating from the first few weeks of production - and the market's ongoing enthusiasm for original, unrestored "project" cars.'
The car was bought from an Exeter dealer by its most recent owner in 1965. He then drove it regularly for around 18 years before hiding it away in the lock-up in Bath where it remained until being unearthed by Bonhams. It was one of a number of classic cars which were sold yesterday at the RAF Museum in Hendon.
Covered in cobwebs: The original red leather interior will need to be carefully cleaned and restored to its former glory
Under the bonnet of the Jaguar E-Type is the car's original 3.8-litre engine. The car has not been in use since 1983
The car's new owner, who has remained anonymous, will now have to spend in excess of £50,000 returning the Jaguar to its former glory. Enzo Ferrari once described the Jaguar E-Type as the most beautiful car ever made. Under the bonnet of the Jaguar E-Type - which has done 65,000 miles in its 52-year history - is the car's original 3.8-litre engine. When it is fully reconditioned, the convertible should be capable of a top speed of around 150mph. Some 70,000 of the classic British cars were built but this is one of only a handful of originals still around.
Birth of a legend: 1960s advertising for the revolutionary E-Type. But due to spiralling running costs, the former owner stored it in a garage in 1983 and it had been left there ever since. Its cream panels and chrome bumpers became spattered in rust over the last three decades and its red leather interior filled with dust. Experts say it will take at least £50,000 to restore the tatty sports car to its former glory.
Jon Polson, motor car specialist at auctioneers Bonhams which sold the Jaguar, said: 'It's an incredible car - very rare and very desirable.
'It's the E-Type at its purest before changes had to be made to the model to adhere to safety laws. It is the 59th ever built, and there are only a handful of the original models remaining.
'It would have been the owner's pride and joy when he bought it in 1965. Sadly the rising running costs forced him to garage the car in 1983 and it has not been used since.'
The sale of the E-Type has once again showcased the strong classic car market.
On Saturday, a rotten Jaguar XK120 sold for £96,000 at auction - £80,000 more than the initial estimate.

They called it the "Banker's Hot Rod" and I always wanted one but not the bills that come with ownership! This example looks pretty good.
One of the nicest 300SEL-6.3's in the world. This 1971 Mercedes Benz 300SEL-6.3 Super Saloon with all options including the rare sunroof. This southern California car was restored by Karl Midlehauser a well know M-100 restoration shop. The car had a complete comprehensive restoration, including rebuilt engine, transmission, drivetrain, rear differential...... Most every piece was rebuilt or replaced throughout the car. A bare metal paint restoration of the highest quality was completed and is simply fabulous-not a scratch, ding or scuff on the car- The interior wood was all restored, the dashboard-perfect, the carpets still new and door panels the same. This car was upgraded during restoration with a new fuel distribution system at a significant cost, to not only make the monstrous engine run faster, smoother, along with other AMG components considerably more HP-the original MFI is in the trunk for the purest. New Michelin XVX tires at a cost of 2,500 are being installed on the gorgeous chrome mag wheels. The car has only been driven a few thousand miles since the full restoration was completed less than 12 years ago and kept in a climate controlled stowage facility. No matter how carefully you store a car, when you bring them back out to drive, they inevitably need to be refreshed- We presently have a Stuttgart trained master mechanic in from Switzerland, commissioned to bring this car back to perfect mechanical condition. Lester, has taught classes on the 300SEL-6.3 after his many years of repairing these fabulous cars. At a cost of over $25,000, this car will have every little detail and all the mechanical that have issues rebuilt or replaced, including new heater blower, new heater control handles, all new hoses on the suspension system, all new belts, new oils, grease, resealed transmission leak with new O ring at the speedometer cable, new air compressor, new electric cooling fan, rebuilt alternator, changed all the oils, newly converted R-134 A/C system update with new heater/dryer, a very long list of small items such a window switches, light bulbs replaced, new OEM directional switch, brake fluid drained and replaced, dialing in the EFI through a laptop computer- the list goes on. The car will be sorted and ready to drive daily.
Price - $ 87,500

Something just had sex with my eyes and it’s the Ferrari V4 Superbike concept, but instead of having a smoke and cuddling I made a lame excuse and left so I could tell you all about it. This has to be the absolute best attempt at a Ferrari motorcycle. The concept is the work of Israeli designer Amir Glinik, who based his design around the theoretical application of the Ferrari Enzo’s V12 engine, chopped down to four cylinders and modified to drive just one wheel in a motorcycle.
Glinik’s design has a sleek shape that is futuristic, but thoroughly ridable and it catches your attention like a long-legged blonde in a room full of Ugly Bettys. Glinik even planned out the controls, blending elements from an F-16 fighter jet and the high-tech Formula One steering wheel. It even sports a weatherproof touch-screen LCD on the fuel tank. This is one that I think anybody would want to see built.

Lamborghini Countach, There was a time when an art form known as coachbuilding existed. Back then, the coachbuilder did not have to answer to a CFO. Back then, the coach builder did not have to compromise his vision due to government regulations. Back then, the outrageous was possible. The Lamborghini Countach could only have been born then.
