This is My 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 truck, 35" Mud Grapplers, 6" suspension lift. Removed front bumper for more clearance. Went into the pit in 4x4, got out in 2wd. Broke the axle just as I was getting into it, you can hear it.

Reason why it broke, is because the dumbass company that installed the lift, cranked the torsion keys all the way up and put too much strain on the CV joints. They paid for the repair bill to say the least ;)

Dodge rules... why do you think I got out of THAT in 2wd? Even with a f*** up from one stupid company! :)

I love a story that starts with a broken axle, then continues to claim how superior the vehicle is...

read the title sean. says pretty clearly that the CV broke because of a faulty install, not because of the manufacturer! Rams are great in the mud!
