This year marked my 15th year judging at the Pebble Beach Concours. I began under the wise stewardship of our late, great team captain Gordon Apker and alongside Knox Kershaw and Bill Snyder. Today, I am privileged to continue judging the Duesenberg class with Nelson Thorpe and team captain Steve Snyder.
The toughest job you love, and breaking bread with the likes of honorary judges Glenn Mounger, Bob Lutz, Jackie Stewart, Derek Bell and Stirling Moss—to name a few—a modest plate of humble pie is about all you can eat.
