For the success of The Doors remarkable 1967 self titled debut album, frontman Jim Morrison was given a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang by Elektra Records. "Blue Lady" was thrashed and rode hard by Morrison then wound up crashed and scrapped, whereabouts unknown.
