Hellé Nice 1900-1984 was a model, dancer, and a Grand Prix driver. Her career was destroyed in 1949 by a racing collegue Louis Chiron who denounced the female driver by declaring that she had been an agent of the Gestapo during WWIII. His unsubstantiated allegation destroyed Nice's life and she would be shunned by all, dying in abject poverty. Learn more about her here:
