The 1960 Plymouth Fury had the option of a dashboard record player: the RCA Victor “Highway Hi-Fi”. It could play up to fourteen “45” records consecutively.
To avoid records skipping this set of wheels had to have been a very smooth ride.

The Fury must have had a pretty smooth suspension for that to work while driving. Perhaps it was recommended for "stationary use only."

It must have been near impossible to set the needle down perfectly at the beginning of a song while driving.
