"Edmund Burgess was competing in the Prescott Speed Hill Climb, as he approached a hairpin bend the brakes of his 1924 Bugatti failed. The vintage car smashed into a wall crushing the 56-year-old inside. Despite the damage, Mr Burgess climbed out of the wreckage alive."
