Is this a field of dreams or the worst nightmare? "A pair of gentlemen who wish to be known as Peanut and Slim, from the town of Farmville, Va., (yes, really) are holding a sale of some muscle cars they've got in a barn. The cars in the barn in question are mostly Mopars, but apparently there are also hundreds of cars outside, enough to be spotted easily in satellite footage.

Judging from the photos, there are over 200 cars on the property in conditions ranging from salvage to body shell. The seller claims to have about 400 cars on offer, though we could spot only about 200 in the satellite photo. The sellers have a little more than 40 cars and body shells inside the barn, virtually all of them being 1960s and 1970s Chryslers, Dodges, and Plymouths in varying conditions. A number of engines will also be available. Cars claimed to be offered as complete include a 1970 Dodge Challenger, for which the sellers are asking $5,500, a 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner, and a 1971 Dodge Demon. Most of the cars inside appear to be projects.

The sale is planned for Jan. 18, from 9:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m (ET)., and it doesn't appear that it will be held by an auction company or have any kind of organized format. The sellers also do not state what documentation will be provided with the cars that are sold, only mentioning that this is a cash sale. So if you're planning to show up, you can probably expect some wheelin' and dealin.' Also, it might not be a bad idea to wear rubber boots if you're planning to tour the property; this is Virginia in January. Accommodations around Farmville, Va., will probably not be booked in advance, and don't expect any hospitality tents unless Dunkin' Donuts a few miles away counts as a hospitality tent."
