This should be a no-brainer if you're into cars. Buy some jumpers and keep them with you. The 20' length on these is great if you can't park nose to nose.

I pays to have quality set of jumpers and if you live in a cold climate, a material casing that's more flexible than plastic.

Better yet, buy a power pack for a few bucks more and avoid the nasty intercourse required by jumper and jumpee.

I'd say, especially if you're not into cars, jumper cables are a no brainer. The guy who knows his car is much more likely to know how to pop the clutch for a rolling start than the guy who goes to the shop for air in his tires

Well, clutch pop puts auto boxes out of the picture and there's a need for a downhill start.
