What dose it take to replace a head gasket on a Ford Taurus 3.0L V6 OHV Engine?

Well... i got to find out first hand, and you get to watch and enjoy!

if your about to do this job your self please watch and you will have a good understanding of how to do it. or at least whats involved.

This was a weekend project and i thought i would document it for fun... and to help others.

This would have cost me between $1200-$1600 as a local shop. depending on where i took it.

i did this job my self for just over $200 including the fallowing:

head gasket kit
new head bolts
new coolant reservoir
new coolant
new spark plugs
RTV Black sealant
Quick set epoxy
and some coolant system flush.

for me it was better than buying a new car...

lets hope it lasts...

God bless and have fun!

Some time life throws you curve balls... for me i swing hoping to hit it out of the park... this time i did! :)
