I'm ok with technology in cars, but my problem is with all the touch screens. I understand that you can pack so many more features in with one, but there's no tactile way to use it. You HAVE to look away from the road. At least with my analog buttons on my radio, I can change the station and volume just by feeling around.

The more technology I see in cars, the more concerned I get. People should be paying attention to the road, not the 50 screens plastered on their dashboard

What I'm really loving is the HUD (heads up display) that's making its way into some of the new higher end cars. It projects all your info up onto the windshield so you can navigate your cars technology without taking your eyes off the road!

Normally I'd agree with you Dave, but if these fancy electronics help reduce people from texting while driving through spoken text, I'm all for it
