Our friends in the UK attend this event every year. They say it's the Pebble Beach of Europe, smaller and more select.

The Villa d'Este Concorso needs to be on every car guys 'bucket list'. Many have asked how it is compared to Pebble Beach. They're not comparable other then they both have the cream of the car crop. Villa/ d'Este is more 'the right crowd and no crowding' as only entrants, judges and special guests are allowed at Villa D'Este on Saturday to view the 50 cars. Sunday everything moves along Lago di Como to Villa Erba where the cars are viewed by the public. The evenings are filled with Receptions and Black Tie dinners for entrants. Pebble Beach week on the other hand has much more of 'circus comes to town' atmosphere. This is not meant to be derogatory, as it is a wonderful week of automobile overdose (receptions, dinners, auctions, racing memorabilia) that should also be on every car guys 'to do' list.
